Color Grade 『Vintage Look』

Many years ago, I was very interested in this color grading style, but it was challenging to apply this post-processing color grading style to Asian street scenes and still make it look reasonable. Personally, I believe it's because, in the case of Taiwan, there are many high-rise buildings in urban areas, and the sidewalks are relatively narrow. As a result, even during the afternoon's golden hours, many of the sunset's orange hues are blocked by the tall buildings. Therefore, even if I learned this color grading technique, it didn't quite fit well with the video footage shot in my living environment.

I'm delighted that this time, the footage I captured at the Victoria Market in Melbourne allowed me to use the color tones I've always wanted to try.
